We went to Hershey, PA on April 18-19 for Logan's blessing. He is very cute and Kaitlyn is precious. Of course we went to Chocolate World and bought lots of fresh chocolate.

Here are a few pictures of our over night trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg the Monday after Christmas. Little did we know that the week between Christmas and New Years every and I mean every baptist youth group from Key West, FL to Roanoke, VA come for the week with a Methodist and Presbyterian sprinkled among them.

The two people who made it all possible. Okay, okay, the one woman who makes it all possible.

I have truly been blessed with some beautiful daughters. I just wish that Kara and Stacey could have been here to be in the picture.

30th Wedding Anniversary

Here are a few pictures of our 3oth wedding anniversary. I gave Kaylin 3 knock-out roses(1 for each decade) and she gave me 30 small gifts... We also bought each other a new vacuum cleaner. We splurged for a dyson!

Kitchen updates

Here are the latest pictures of the Kitchen redo. All that is left is to paint the pantry door an trim around the door. The whole project was a job. The worst thing was when the sand colored grout dried almost white. I had to remove the grout and redo it. We got about the same color, but bought a different brand. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Kitchen Update

Here are 4 pictures of the kitchen. After many hours of cutting a pasting I have finished laying the tile on the back-splash. I still have to grout the tile so it isn't completely finished yet and will look much better after the grouting is done. But wanted you all to see the work in progress.

Here are a few pictures of the continuing remake of our kitchen. I spent most of July 4th and 5th tearing out the old counter tops and sink and installing the new ones. Saturday I build the knee wall and installed the bar top. I did make the requisite 3 trips to Home Depot on Friday, but only 2 trips on Saturday. I would have only been 1 trip on Saturday, but I didn't follow the builders code of measure twice and cut once. I measured 3 times and still the boards too short. Next step is to finish the back below the bar top with oak plywood, and the side part as well. I hope that only entails 1 trip to the HD. After that will be to install tile on the back splash up to the bottom of the cupboards. Once that is done, all that will be left is to install a new floor. So as you can see we are still "im bau".
