Spring has Sprung

There is currently some debate about our drought conditions. Lake Allatoona is at full pool which usually doesn't happen until sometime in May. So we have been blessed with lots of rain in the past month or so. We are not complaining! So Kelsey and I went for a stroll between conference session today and I took a few pictures of the springing of spring.

Today on the way home from work it began to snow. By 5p I bet there wasn't a loaf of bread or gallon of milk to be had in the Atlanta Metro area. So I went out and made a diminutive snowman with the little bit of snow that we had. Tomorrow morning will be fun getting to work.

Winter Wonderland - we can wish anyway

Here are a few pictures of the family at Christmas. All 14 of us were together for a week. We had a great time and everyone was happy. We loved having everyone together and especially enjoyed the grandkids. We are so blessed with a fantastic family. Kaylin made all of the pajama bottoms and we bought the red tee shirts. It makes for a very red picture. I really like the picture of Kaitlyn and Santa checking each other out. I wish I could have gotten closer, but the Elves limit how close you can be if you want to take your own pictures. We also had some family pictures taken. Still waiting to get the professional ones back.

Today is a red-letter day. I passed the 1000 mile mark on my new bike. I rode the first mile on October 6, 2006 and ened at 1015.5 today, September 22, 2007.

Two pictures of Port Everglades before we departed. Lots of shipping activity in that port. The channel in front the the two tall building in the picture on the left is the channel that we followed to get to the open seas.

Pictures of Mom and I in our stateroom soon after boarding the ship. We had had a short night and she needed a nap.

We sailed all the way around Cuba. We came within 8 miles of the Cuba.
